Roxanne Janiczek is an Associate Attorney at Vrapi Weeks in our Albuquerque office. She represents individuals, families, and businesses in family and business visa petitions, green card applications, naturalization and citizenship, H-1B visas, J-1 Waivers, extraordinary ability and national interest waiver petitions, and other immigration matters. Ms. Janiczek is Filipino American and is fluent in Tagalog.
Ms. Janiczek graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Communication and a specialization in International Studies. She spent several years working in journalism and marketing before obtaining her J.D. at the University of Iowa, College of Law. During her time in law school, Ms. Janiczek focused her legal studies on criminal and immigration law and worked extensively with clients from the University of Iowa’s Legal Clinic on green card applications, waivers, naturalization applications, VAWA petitions and U Visas. She also launched the school’s first Naturalization Clinic event supporting the city’s low income community, volunteered at local immigration clinics and workshops throughout the state, and was selected as a senior peer advisor for the school’s minority and immigrant students.
Prior to joining Vrapi Weeks, Ms. Janiczek held management and executive roles with two rapidly growing companies in the tech and AI industries. Now, she is thrilled to support and guide clients as they navigate the complexities of immigration law, ultimately helping them achieve their dream of living and working in the United States.
Coming from a family of first generation immigrants, Ms. Janiczek understands how intimidating and stressful the immigration process can be for clients and their families. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and diligent support to her clients from start to finish, ensuring each step of the process is as accessible and seamless for them as possible.
