Izel Conejo is a Legal Case Manager at Vrapi Weeks Albuquerque office. She handles mostly family-based immigration cases. Izel strives to ensure that clients’ immigration forms and documents are prepared in a timely and thorough manner. She is fluent in Spanish.

She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Political Science. She hopes to one day go to law school and become an immigration attorney to continue to protect individuals rights to remain in the United States.

Izel’s parents both emigrated from Mexico, in search of opportunity. Her familial experience with the immigration system has made her familiar with the social, emotional, and cultural aspects that can arise during this complex process. Her lived experiences encourage her to create a safe and easy process for the clients.
